Its own hotkey, works outside any app
Super Memory has its own hotkey, separate from hold-to-talk, and it works outside whatever app you're in — no need to click into a text field first, no need to be inside Go Echoo's window.
Press it anywhere, speak, and the transcript is saved straight to a new note. It never pastes into what you were doing: that is the difference from hold-to-talk, which types into a field. This one is for capturing an idea before it's gone.
Notes land in the same local history as everything else, so the same search and retention settings apply.
Specifics
- Its own hotkey, separate from hold-to-talk — set in Settings → Hotkeys
- Works from any app; saves to a new note, does not paste anywhere
- Stored locally; uploaded only if you sync
