Hold to talk

Hold Ctrl+Win on Windows or Cmd+Option on Mac. Speak while you hold it. Let go. The text arrives where your cursor already was.

Holding a key suits short bursts, but it is tiring for a long paragraph. So there is a separate toggle key: tap once to start, tap again to stop. Both bindings are live at the same time, and both are yours to change.

The hotkey is registered globally, which is why it reaches you inside a full-screen editor or a terminal, not only in a browser tab.
